The origins of the project<\/h2>\n

In 2018, Transforma embarked on permaculture to transform and enhance the garden around the coworking and innovation space. Selected by \u201cInspirons le quartier\u201d our project received a grant and educational and practical support.<\/p>\n

The aim is to make it a collectively managed space, open to coworkers and citizen initiatives.<\/p>\n

The program includes practical and friendly workshops, among other things.<\/p>\n

A grounding of our values<\/h2>\n

The permaculture garden at transforma bxl is literally a grounding of the values that inspire us every day.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s these values that bring together a continually growing ecosystem of transformers: sustainable innovation, well-being, sharing, and co-creation are the most fundamental.<\/p>\n

We wanted to provide this cocoon with an outdoor environment that reflects it well: rich, diverse, and appealing.<\/p>\n

A dual challenge<\/h2>\n

Revitalizing our environment, both natural and social, by:<\/p>\n

Restoring life, health, and beauty to our soil:<\/h3>\n

It\u2019s not just about creating a space where we will feel better. The real challenge is gradually bringing life and biodiversity back to our plot.<\/p>\n

Gathering a community around our project:<\/h3>\n

To mobilize all willing participants and reinvigorate an area of Evere that sometimes seems to lack a bit of vitality. There are numerous opportunities to work together, create, learn, practice, exchange, discover, marvel, etc.<\/p>\n

In concrete terms, we dream of\u2026<\/h2>\n

\u201cDream\u201d and \u201cconcrete\u201d are not contradictory. We have a lot of ambition and desires for this garden, and we give our all, step by step.<\/p>\n

A portion of the planning and organization depends on the seasons, of course, but also on the support we receive through \u201cInspire the neighborhood.\u201d We follow a lean startup approach, well-known to any entrepreneur: we develop, measure, learn, etc.<\/p>\n

The different zones<\/h2>\n

In the long run, the garden will consist of a sunny raised-bed vegetable garden, an orchard, a wetland area with a temporary pond, a flower zone for bees, a water point, an area with hydrangeas accompanied by vegetable cultivation, an interzone space for kiwis, cyclanths, and vines, as well as a white willow hedge, \u2026<\/p>\n

No need to have strong muscles or specific skills. Come learn and let loose! At the end of an urban campaign, you have the highly coveted status of a countryfolk of transforma.<\/p>\n
